"I would like to thank the people at Imaging Affiliates for continually quoting me the lowest prices on imaging tubes. And more importantly for helping me to troubleshoot and repair my x-ray equipment, even when the result is a 'no sale' for them. My most recent experience with this attitude was when I encountered a problem with contrast on a seemingly permanent plastic cover on the image intensifier of a Siemens special room. A whole day with the Regional Field Service Specialist resulted in me getting several quotes at around $55,000 for a new tube. But when Tom at Imaging Affiliates called me back with a quote, he instead offered a better solution. The plastic cover could in fact be pushed out and then re-installed after it was cleaned. I had the unit repaired and back together in two hours with no artifact in the image. "On February 7th, I was running cables near our ElScint Helicat CT unit, when the system failed. Our Philips CT Engineer quickly diagnosed that the tube was defective. I remembered getting a flier from Imaging Affiliates announcing that they now had ElScint CT Tubes available. After obtaining the current price from Philips, I called Imaging Affiliates for their price. When I compared prices I was amazed that our facility could save #35,000 by purchasing the tube through Imaging Affiliates.
